The Mirror Exercise 

Here is a very simple way to gauge whether you currently have any resistance within yourself or struggle with feelings of self worth that may be holding you back from your truest potential. While the exercise is simple enough, it may prove the most difficult task for many of us, as it requires the utmost courage:

Place yourself in front of a mirror. Gaze into your eyes. Say the following to yourself out loud.

"I love you and I accept you unconditionally."

Do this ten more times.

If you can do this easily with a feeling of overwhelming love and joy in your heart and a grin on your face, well done, congratulations! You have a healthy sense of self worth and self love.

For the other 98% of us - the degree to which this exercise makes you uncomfortable or is difficult, is a great indicator of how much resistance and feeling of lack you have within that needs to be cleared.

How do I clear it? Simple. Do this exercise daily until you react with overwhelming love and joy in your heart and a grin on your face. Then keep doing it.

For those of you that may feel entirely silly or ridiculous or embarrassed while doing this, or for those that feel vehement opposition towards even trying - you stand the most to gain.

For those who may read this, scoff and think that any person - man, woman or otherwise who would even consider doing this exercise is weak and foolish - I'm sorry, but I think you may be on the wrong page.

It is time to shed our armor. There is enormous strength to be found embracing and owning our vulnerability. Want to change the world? It begins with conquering our own lack of self worth and self doubt. It begins with looking at ourselves in the mirror without shame, and loving ourselves wholly and unconditionally.
