As President of the Kabul Girl Up Club, Fatima got right to work rallying the girls in her community through movie screenings and a bike riding club (featured on Humans of Kabul). 
Their first bike ride brought together 8 girls and was met with stares by neighbors who were not used to seeing girls riding bicycles, but biking helped them to gain confidence and they plan to do it regularly. She wants to change Afghan society by breaking barriers for women and girls.
