Ebola Outbreak: 10 Things You MUST do RIGHT NOW to Protect yourself

10 Things You MUST do RIGHT NOW to Protect yourself from an Ebola Outbreak
You can do more than just wash your hands and use anti-bacterial sanitizer, while hoping the government has the Ebola outbreak under control as there is no certainty that the government can handle this. Just weeks ago, Obama assured us that Ebola wouldn’t make it to the USA, and now here it is. Don’t panic. There are 10 steps you can take to make sure that yourself and your loved ones have the best chance of surviving an Ebola outbreak.
This article highlights what you should be doing as soon as you can, in preparation for a pandemic.

1. Enhance your immune system with medicinal nutrients and herbs

Your immune system is what ultimately saves you from contracting diseases, not drugs. This is something people forget about. In order to boost your immune system, so that you have a fighting chance of surviving Ebola, (or not contracting it in the first place), then stock up on anti-viral herbs, natural medicines, super-foods and nutritional supplements. This is especially necessary for the very young and elderly, who are even more vulnerable. But even for the fit and healthy, it is important to feed your body right. Think of it as an investment in your health, and your life.
You can get more advice on how to boost your immune system here and you should also make sure that you have these 13 natural (and powerful) antibiotics just in case you need them. 2. Stock up on food supplies in case of quarantines and food shortages

During a medical quarantine, food stocks plummet. This is due to traffic restrictions in and out of the quarantine zone, drivers of transport delivery vehicles refusing to enter the quarantine zone and citizens stocking up on supplies because of fear of supply shortages. So, make sure you don’t starve. The time is now to stock up on food supplies that won’t perish anytime soon. Preparation is key.

3. Be aware that disruptions will occur in banking

When a region is under quarantine, it means that people cannot go to work. Those people also run the banks.
So it is realistic to expect ATMs to stop working and banks closures due to the number of people making cash withdrawals. Our current banking system just isn’t designed to deal with such a situation.
It is important that you have a readily available supply of cash so that you can pay for emergency supplies, which are bound to be sold at highly inflated black market prices in the midst of a quarantine.
In anticipation for a quarantine, now is the time to start thinking about how you will deal with that situation.

4. Be aware that disruptions will occur in water and power supplies

Water and electricity are basic things which we use daily, but take for granted. However, it is sensible to anticipate that there could be major shortages.
Therefore, you should take the following preparation methods:
  • Water – You will need a large supply of back-up water in your home. The easiest way to do this is to purchase a water bob and fill it up to the max. This will give you 100 gallons or so which will last you and an average sized family a few days. If you can’t get hold of a water bob, then a good alternative is to fill your bath tubs up to the max with water.
  • Electricity – You should stock up on flashlights, batteries, gas lamps, candles and matches. A quarantine would be scary enough, without having to live in the dark.

5. Buy basic medical protection and isolation gear

If Ebola spreads throughout North America, hospitals will soon be overwhelmed with patients. They will not be able to treat everyone and tragically, most people seeking medical attention will be sent home. Currently, 82% of infected patients in Africa are being turned away from hospitals.
Don’t rely on hospitals to save you. In order to survive, you have to take your initiative. You should invest in basic medical supplies so that you can treat yourself or an infected loved one. Isolation supplies are also useful, so that yourself and other members of your family can isolate themselves from one infected family member, while still being able to care for them.
Don’t wait to purchase these supplies. It’s not too early to prepare yourself. There is currently a pack of 25 Tyvek body suits with hoods at Amazon.com for just $140. That’s a little over $5 a suit.
If you leave it too late, then these supplies will no longer be available, or if they are, they will be extremely expensive.

6. Have a plan to evacuate the area and have the fuel and gear ready to go

If Ebola breaks out in your city, do you have an escape plan?
If your city goes under quarantine, then you do not want to be there. If you are, then you cannot leave until the government says so, which will be when everybody is either immune or dead. It’s brutal.
But you don’t have to put up with that. If you relocate to a rural area, before a quarantine, then you are much better off.
Quarantines happen without warning. This is because governments don’t want you to do exactly what I’ve just told you to do – flee the area, and risk spreading the virus even more. This is why it is important to anticipate a quarantine, even if it doesn’t seem likely to happen. It’s not being paranoid, it’s being cautious. Get out while you can.

7. Have a plan to keep your home and your family safe from intruders

It is important to think realistically when considering how you are going to prepare for a potential quarantine. Preparing to keep your home and your family well-guarded from dangerous people is a very necessary step. Even if you live in a safe and friendly, gated community, it is foolish to assume that it won’t be a very different, and hostile environment once a quarantine kicks in. It is likely that your neighbors will be very helpful and friendly during the first few days, but what about when the food and water supplies plummet? What if they aren’t as prepared and equipped as you are? When people are starving and thirsty, their inhibitions go out the window and they can turn savage in their hunt for what their bodies need.
Take action now to defend your home against intruders. I’m talking CCTV, an alarm system, sturdy doors with strong bolts and locks.

8. Consider permanently moving house from high-population areas

If you live in a city, but have considered moving to the country, then now is the time to seriously think about doing so. It may seem like a rash decision, but what better reason to move, than to stand a much better chance of surviving a pandemic. Furthermore, human activity has caused wild imbalances in the natural ecosystems, so we should expect further pandemics and diseases to sweep the world for decades to come.
In any pandemic, cities are the worst place to be. The high population means that diseases spread faster, meaning more deaths. Rural areas are a much safer and more pleasant place to live, simply because fewer people live there, thus disease is less likely to spread, and the chances of survival are increased greatly.

9. Prepare to go without any medical assistance or treatment

During a pandemic, doctors and hospital staff are rushed off their feet, dealing with as many patients as possible. But unfortunately, they can’t treat everyone, meaning many people will be turned away and survival is left down to them. This what is already happening in Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Calling 911 will not work and ambulances, along with other emergency transportation vehicles will already be contaminated with the Ebola Virus.
Therefore, it is good time to build up your self-reliance skills. Buy a first aid kit, go on a first course and be prepared to use your initiative and survival instinct.

10. Be aware that medications, junk food and toxic chemicals make you more vulnerable to infections

The mainstream media does not discuss how medications negatively impact on your body’s immune boosting nutrients, which make people more vulnerable to contracting viral infections.
The USA is a ‘pill’ society and the highly medicated state of many Americans has made the country particularly vulnerable to an Ebola wipe-out. It may be beneficial for Americans, who wish to stand the best chance of survival, to work with qualified naturopathic physicians to get off their medication quickly and transition to a health-enhancing lifestyle that increases immune function and builds up defenses against infections. Now it’s the perfect time to learn if your body is toxic and detox your body using my e-book the Detox Guide (this guide has all the information on how to effectively neutralize harmful toxins from your body).
It is important to know that every single person who has so far survived Ebola has been saved by their own immune system. Make your immune system strong enough to support you too, by supporting it, instead of suppressing it.
